Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely and encrypted; we never see your password in plain text).
Learning data. We store your progress through lessons and vocabulary, including which words you've learned, quiz/review results, streaks, and words you submit for your own study lists. This is used to power your learning experience (e.g. spaced repetition, progress tracking) and is tied to your account.
Marketing preferences. If you opt in during sign-up, we collect your email address to send you product updates and marketing communications via Mailchimp. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email, or by turning this off in your account settings.
Crash and error data. We use Sentry, a third-party error-monitoring service, to automatically collect technical information when the App crashes or encounters an error — such as device type, operating system version, and a stack trace of the error. This helps us find and fix bugs. This data is not linked to your name or email.
Contact form. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message, so we can respond to you.
Cookies. Our Website uses cookies to operate correctly and to understand how visitors use the site (e.g. basic analytics). You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the Website may not function as well if you do.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
We use the following third-party services to operate the App:
1. Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication
2. Mailchimp — sends marketing emails to users who opt in, and stores contact form submissions
3. Sentry — collects crash/error reports for debugging
Each of these providers processes data on our behalf and is bound by their own privacy and security practices.
We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (available in-app under Account Settings), we permanently delete your profile, learning progress, and related data from our systems.
You can:
1. Access and update your account information in the App
2. Delete your account and associated data at any time from the App
3. Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
